Yesterday, as a Valentine’s Day gift, my girlfriend got me the Megumin Nendoroid! I was really excited for this as Megumin is one of my favorite characters in anime.
If you do not know, Megumin is an arch wizard who loves explosions from Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o!, otherwise known as: KonoSuba. KonoSuba is originally a light novel by Natsume Akatsuki, until it then became an anime. To be honest, though, I got into KonoSuba through the anime and am greatly looking forward to buying the light novels.
Like the Amatsukaze one, she has several different customization options, including three different facial expressions, her staff, her eye-patch, and even the little glint she has in her eyes at times. It is also of consistent, high quality. The small little details, like the moveable belt, just adds to the overall craftsmanship of this figure.
In this case, I chose to start her out with her nervous face because I thought it was just so cute.
Setting her up was a breeze this time, since last time I didn’t know what to do. In a way, the instructions are vague, but after realizing some things, putting it all together is super simple.
And, alas, this is the second of many Nendoroids to come. I just need to figure out a place to house them in, alongside my other and future figures, rather than using my dresser.
So go ahead and check out Good Smile Comapny’s website and buy a Nendoroid!
